April Awakening
Submitted: April 6, 2025, 12:31 p.m.
We're one week into April, and it's already thrown everything at us—snow, rain, and sunshine! Today? It's a sunny stunner. The garden is waking up and every visit is a front row seat to nature's spring show.

Pasque Flower (Pulsatilla vulgaris)
These fuzzy-leaved charmers are blooming along the walk between the Children’s Garden and the Medicinal Garden. They have soft petals and a bold presence—you can't miss them.

Kramer's Red Winter Heath (Erica darleyensis)
Small but mighty! These tiny pink flowers are packing some serious spring vibes.

Blue-Green Moor Grass (Sesleria heufleriana)
Yes, even the grass is blooming! If you see white fluff, that’s not leftover snow—it’s the stamens, putting on their own little show.

Grecian Windflower (Anemone blanda)
Like spring confetti scattered across the Garden, these bright little blooms are popping up everywhere. Keep your eyes open for a surprise splash of color!

Water Pavilion
Need a moment of zen? The waterfall is flowing and the sun-dappled pavilion is a perfect pause on your Garden journey.
Come visit us at Red Butte Garden and enjoy the bloom of the moment—because in spring, no two days look the same.
