Dive into the wonders of the natural world alongside your peers in an environment designed for young minds to flourish. Space is limited, so register early. Arctic Adventure

Saturday, January 25 | 10-11:30 am

Bundle up for an Arctic Adventure! In this hands-on class, we’ll discover how plants and animals brave the winter using amazing adaptations to survive the cold. We’ll explore how everything from evergreen trees to hibernating animals stay safe and cozy during cold weather. After our journey, we’ll create a fun winter-themed craft inspired by the wonders of nature.

Junior Apothecary

Saturday, February 22 | 10-11:30 am

Join us for a fun, hands-on class, where we’ll explore the amazing properties of plants and learn how they’ve been used for centuries to promote health and wellness. After, we’ll create our own herbal goodies including a natural lip balm, a refreshing herbal soda, and a plant-scented air freshener—perfect for adding a little plant magic to our daily lives!

Plant Pizzaria

Saturday, March 22 | 10-11:30 am

From basil and oregano to tomatoes and peppers, you put plants on your pizza! Come learn more about this tasty dish and the plants that help make it so delicious. Wrap up your learning by creating your own scrumptious mini pizza using a variety of flavorful plants and take home seeds to plant your own pizza-themed garden.

Nature at Night

Saturday, April 19 | 10-11:30 am

When most of the world goes to sleep at night, there are plants and animals that come alive in the darkness. Explore the nocturnal side of nature and why some plants and animals prefer to mingle in the moonlight. Then, plant a night-loving plant to take home. You don’t want to sleep on this class!

Desert Dwellers

Saturday, May 17 | 10-11:30 am

How do animals and plants survive in the Utah desert? Join us as we discover what is dwelling in the desert, and how they thrive in such a harsh environment. Then, create your own desert-themed planter to take a piece of the desert home with you!
